Microsoft cybersecurity researchers have warned about the stealthy NeedyMantis malware framework, which has been used in campaigns targeting telecommunications providers, universities and government-linked organizations. Microsoft said the activity emerged from China, but did not attribute it to the Chinese state. At least one operator associated with the activity is Storm-3069.
