Kiteworks received credible threat intelligence from federal intelligence authorities indicating that a threat actor may attempt to target some Kiteworks systems. As a precaution, the company urged customers to shut down their systems for nine hours over the weekend. Kiteworks said it has found no evidence that customer systems were compromised and emphasized that the advisory is preventive rather than a response to a confirmed attack.
