CERT-EE registered more than 20 DDoS attacks in August, including attacks on around 20 websites on 16 and 17 August. Targets included police, government, business and public-service websites. The most visible impact affected emta.ee, which was unavailable from 12:30 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. on 17 August; the services remained functional and only the webpage was affected.
