CERT24New Windows Defender zero-day blocks Microsoft antivirus updates
Security researcher Abdelhamid Naceri, also known as Nightmare Eclipse, released a Microsoft Defender zero-day exploit named BigDiskBuster. He said it prevents Defender from performing platform and signature updates while the tool is running in the background.
