World’s largest cryptocurrency exchange hit by cyberattack

Binance, described as the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, was hit by an extensive cyberattack. Reuters reported that cryptocurrency assets worth $6.3 billion were stolen. Binance and its partners froze approximately $3 billion in assets. Withdrawals were temporarily suspended for security reasons.
