US government asks Anthropic to block foreign-national access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5

The US government issued Anthropic an export-control directive, citing national-security authorities, that bars foreign nationals from accessing Fable 5 and Mythos 5 inside or outside the United States. Anthropic consequently suspended access to both models for all users worldwide.
