Researchers Build WeChat Zero-Click Worm Hijacking Phones via Calls

Researchers at Calif, a cybersecurity startup based in Palo Alto, California, built WeWorm, a tool that uses a WeChat vulnerability to attack Android and iOS phones and WeChat accounts through an incoming call. The victim does not need to answer the call or interact with the phone.
