Chess.com leak exposes data of 7.3 million users
A 15.5 GB file containing 7,337,395 Chess.com user records was published online. The data is genuine and recent, but the source says the evidence points to large-scale scraping rather than a server breach. The file includes email addresses, usernames, names, countries, ratings, subscription tiers, and Google Ad Manager audience segments. It contains no passwords, password hashes, or payment data.
