CERT24French blood service hit by Europe-wide cyberattacks on refrigeration
Temperature and defrosting thresholds were altered at three sites of France’s national blood service, EFS, during a cyberattack. EFS said that no health impacts or losses of blood products were identified. The attack reached EFS through a third-party refrigeration equipment provider. Similar attacks in the latest wave were reportedly observed in at least 11 European countries.
