Cyberattack wipes cloud data at major Russian hosting provider Beget

A cyberattack damaged Beget’s cloud infrastructure, wiping data associated with virtual private servers, cloud storage and Kubernetes services, and disrupting hundreds of websites. The company said file-level backups remained intact, while all binary backups of its virtual servers were lost.
