Revolut data leak may be linked to compromised Italian government accounts

Approximately 680 Revolut customers may have been affected by fraudulent requests that appeared to originate from a legitimate Italian government PEC address. Revolut said that its systems were not breached. The attackers may have used a compromised Italian government account to impersonate law-enforcement officials and obtain sensitive customer data.
