Data of approximately 10,000 people stolen in Asper Biogene data breach

Approximately 100,000 files were illegally downloaded from the database of Tartu-based genetic testing company Asper Biogene, involving personal and health data belonging to about 10,000 people. Some files contained genetic testing results. Forty healthcare companies were also affected, including organizations involved in fertility testing.
