Nikkei discloses breaches of employees’ Microsoft and Google email accounts

Nikkei disclosed that unknown attackers accessed two employee email accounts. The Google Workspace account breach may have exposed the personal information of 1,646 employees and business partners, while the compromised Microsoft 365 account was used to send 9,000 phishing emails to Nikkei staff and interviewees.
