Scammers use AI to create convincing fake antivirus renewal pages

Scammers send messages claiming that an antivirus subscription has automatically renewed and direct recipients to a fake cancellation page. The page collects a name, email address, and phone number to prepare for a possible follow-up call. An example targeting users in Belgium impersonated Avast and may have been built with AI, although this cannot be proven from the files alone.
