Patient Data Leaked in McKesson Cyberattack

McKesson confirmed that certain third-party applications were accessed without authorization and that certain data was exfiltrated. The impact involved a subset of customers within its Oncology & Multispecialty and Medical-Surgical business units. ShinyHunters claimed responsibility, while a leak-site post claimed that hundreds of millions of records had been compromised; these claims were not confirmed by McKesson.
