New ChatGPT Lockdown Mode Limits Tools That Could Enable Data Exfiltration

OpenAI has begun rolling out an optional Lockdown Mode to eligible personal ChatGPT accounts. The feature is intended to reduce the risk of data exfiltration caused by prompt injection attacks by limiting tools that connect to the web or external services.
