Police Disrupt Emotet, the Internet’s “Most Dangerous Malware”

An international law-enforcement operation known as Operation Ladybird disrupted the Emotet botnet by taking control of its command-and-control infrastructure and arresting at least two alleged Ukrainian members. Emotet was described as a large botnet used for data theft and ransomware delivery.
