Cyber situation – August 2026

In August, several important services in Estonia experienced disruptions, including Tallinn Airport’s ABC gates, the Pärnu Hospital network and the government’s central GovSSO login service. A school in Harju County was hit by ransomware, and a phishing campaign was sent in the name of the Estonian Transport Administration. Internationally, attacks and security risks were reported in Latvia, the United Kingdom, Norway and Germany, as well as during testing of artificial-intelligence agents.
