University of New Mexico restores hospital systems and urges no contact with hackers
The University of New Mexico restored systems used by its healthcare facilities after a cyberattack forced ambulances to be diverted and medical school classes to be canceled on Monday. Its Health Sciences Center said all facilities are fully functional and that no ransom was paid. A ransomware gang claimed responsibility; it was purportedly a new group known as BYOD.
