Updated Android malware ToxicPanda 2.0 expands its attack scope

Zimperium’s zLabs team documented ToxicPanda 2.0, which targets 349 financial institutions across 16 countries, compared with 16 applications in the previous version. The malware abuses Android’s Accessibility Service, Wireless Debugging and ADB to expand device access and steal banking credentials and lock-screen information.
