FBI raids DPRK IT worker laptop farms in Texas, US nationals arrested
The U.S. Department of Justice disrupted Famous Chollima, also known as WageMole, by arresting two suspects, charging 14 individuals, and seizing nearly 187 laptops and KVM input devices. The equipment was used in North Korean remote IT worker schemes in which facilitators hosted employer-issued computers and allowed workers to access them remotely to appear U.S.-based.
