Hackers block Russians from using their Chinese cars

Russian owners of electric vehicles made by Chinese automaker Li Auto (Lixiang) have reportedly been targeted in mass account-takeover attacks. The attackers change the passwords of compromised accounts and demand payment to restore access. Twenty victims are currently known, and demands have reached 250,000 rubles, approximately 2,750 euros.
