How REvil Ransomware Took Out Thousands of Businesses at Once

REvil and its affiliates exploited a vulnerability in Kaseya VSA’s automated update system to distribute ransomware through managed service providers to their customers. At least hundreds and likely thousands of businesses worldwide were affected, including Sweden’s Coop stores, a railway, and a pharmacy chain.
